Meetings Technology Visionary Corbin Ball joins Conferon Board

Twinsburg, OH, September 5, 2000 - Speaker, author, columnist, and consultant Corbin Ball, CMP, has joined Conferon's Board of Directors. Ball's participation was announced by Board Chairman Bruce Harris, Conferon President and CEO, during the firm's Annual Meeting in Tampa last week. Ball rounds out the board's roster, which includes Conferon's Executive Vice President David Lutz, and Andrew Strauss, Vice President, and Stewart Kohl, Managing General Partner from equity investor The Riverside Company.

Ball, president of Corbin Ball Associates, is a consultant, writer and speaker focusing on meetings technology. With 20 years of experience running international citywide technology meetings, Ball helps clients worldwide use technology to save time and improve productivity. He is the technology columnist for five publications and serves on numerous hotel and association boards. He is 1997 Meeting Professional International's (MPI) "Chapter Leader of the Year" and was named one of "The 25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry" by MeetingNews magazine in July 2000.
